The tub construction exterior is a beautiful pacific cedar, while the interior is finished in a 304 stainless steel. Included is a matching step and locking cover. The chiller unit has a low temperature of 38 degrees. If you do not have a Maxxus home sauna, this unit also can heat the water to 88 degrees for hot water therapy. According to Mayo Clinic, cold water immersion helps reduce the degree of exercise-induced muscle damage. These benefits result in rapid blood vessel constriction.
